Greetings Ranger Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving, making memories with your family and friends. We have a busy 19 days in store until our Christmas break begins. Please reach out if you have any questions on any of our events.
Please join us tomorrow, November 29th, at 6pm for our elementary Christmas program; please check out the attachment in this email for more information. The Christmas program will be kindergarten though fifth grade and it will be held in the Gins Gym. Our students have been practicing super hard and are excited to perform for you!
PIPTO is sponsoring a Family Movie Night this Friday, December 2nd in the high school theater. Doors will open at 3:30 for a 4pm showing of Sing 2 and a 6:30pm showing of Jurassic World. There will also be a bake sale and concession stand, benefits going towards a Gaga Ball Pit for the playground. If you would like to donate baked goods, please have those to the elementary office this Friday. If you would like to join us for the next PIPTO meeting, please come to the elementary commons after school December 13th.
All our students will be taking the NWEA assessment in the next few weeks. If you would like to learn more about this assessment, please visit https://www.nwea.org/family-toolkit/ . Our students take this three times a year, at the start of the school year, middle of year, and end of year. These assessments help our teachers see areas of strength and areas to focus on more in the classroom. You will also receive the scores once complete.
Our last week of school, before Christmas break, we have a tradition of creating gingerbread houses out of milk cartons. We gladly accept any donations of candies, frosting, sprinkles, graham crackers, etc. Please drop off any gingerbread items to the elementary office for us to use the week of December 19th. On December 22nd, the elementary will gather in the high school theater to watch a Muppets Christmas Carol. Christmas parties will be in the afternoon of the 22nd; stay tuned to information from your child’s teacher. Also, the week of December 19th, feel free to have your child participate in our holiday dress up days:
Please note we do not have school Friday, December 23, as it is the start of our Christmas break. We will resume school Thursday, January 5th.
A few dates for upcoming events:
Feel free to stop by the lost and found in the elementary commons. We will also have the items on display at the Christmas program tomorrow night.
