About Me:

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I'm Mrs. Bernstein and this is my 8th year teaching 2nd grade in Hill City. I grew up and graduated high school from Belle Fourche and graduated with a Major in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of South Dakota. I also have my Masters in Reading from Black Hills State. I am married to my husband Clay and we have a daughter together named Colby. We have two pets, a dog named Keto and a cat named Luna. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing sports. I like to spend my time outside hunting, fishing and biking. Please come and say "HI" if you see me around town! I'm excited for another year teaching as a Hill City Ranger!
